By accessing or using Baasix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Baasix provides:

• Open Source Backend: MIT-licensed backend framework (free forever)
• UI Management Tool: Proprietary web-based admin interface (requires paid license)

3. License Types

3.1 Open Source Backend

The Baasix backend is licensed under the MIT License. You may:

• Use it in commercial and non-commercial projects
• Modify and distribute the backend code
• Use it with localhost:* domains indefinitely (free)

3.2 UI Management Tool

The Baasix UI is proprietary software that requires a paid license for:

• Production domain usage (non-localhost)
• Access to the web-based admin interface
• Visual schema designer and data browser

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Baasix instance
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensuring proper backups of your data
• Not using Baasix for illegal or malicious purposes
• Not attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent license restrictions

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

• Yearly License: $9.99 per production domain per year
• Lifetime License: $69 per production domain (one-time payment)

5.2 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all license purchases. To request a refund, contact us at support@baasix.com.

5.3 License Renewal

Yearly licenses automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Baasix to:

• Create a competing UI or admin interface product
• Offer Baasix UI as a service to third parties without authorization
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware or engage in harmful activities
• Bypass or circumvent license validation mechanisms

7. Service Availability

Since Baasix is self-hosted, you are responsible for service availability. We provide:

• Regular software updates and bug fixes
• Security patches as needed
• Email support (response time based on license type)

We do NOT guarantee uptime or availability as your instance runs on your infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

The Baasix name, logo, UI, and documentation are proprietary and protected by copyright and trademark laws. The backend code is open source under MIT license. See License Agreement for details.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of Baasix.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

BAASIX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

• Your UI license will be revoked
• You may continue using the open-source backend
• No refunds will be provided for violations

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of Baasix after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
